Continuous sentences are subordinate sentences. It is connected to the main sentence by a continuous conjunction.

A continuative conjunction is one that joins two ideas or sentences, making a link or a relationship between the ideas of continuity, where that continuity can be of a logical, time, or consequence type. The consequent links can be simple or compound.
